CLERKENWELL DESIGN WEEK
Clerkenwell Design Week marks its triumphant return to London from 21 – 23 May 2024. Celebrating its 15th year, this global design festival is back with new venues, expanded exhibition spaces, thought-provoking installations and a stronger-than-ever line-up of both British and international brands.
Anticipate a dynamic programme of over 600 curated events spread throughout the EC1 neighbourhood, supported by a network of over 160 local design showrooms and 300 exhibitors spanning across 12+ venues. A captivating series of site-specific installations and brand collaborations will once again grace the streets of Clerkenwell, promising festival-goers an immersive journey into the heart of design innovation. Conversations at Clerkenwell also returns to Spa Fields with a compelling line-up of daily talks delving into industry topics.

ULTRAFABRICS
Ultrafabrics is celebrating its 25th birthday at Clerkenwell Design Week with the launch of its new-and-improved Volar Bio collection with doubled sustainable materials: it now has a 66% mix of recycled, rapidly renewable and bio-based content.
Ultrafabrics will be in the Project venue at CDW; it has set up the Ultrafabrics Sanctuary where Peach Fuzz, Pantone's Colour of the Year, comes alive. Stand PB8A, Project, Garden of St James, St James Walk, EC1R 0EA.
Ultrafabrics also takes to the stage at Clerkenwell Design Week with a curated talk at Conversations at Clerkenwell: Unlocking the Power of Sensory Design for Neuro-Inclusive Environments.

WEWANTMORE
Ruud Belmans, the founder of design and branding studio WeWantMore, and his team from Antwerp will be in London to celebrate the success of the company’s newly launched sustainable scheme for McDonald’s, as well as WeWantMore setting up shop in our city. Join them for a panel discussion, Bridging Creativity & Sustainability, at the Muuto showroom.

ALBION STONE AND HUTTON STONE
British stone suppliers Albion Stone and Hutton Stone have commissioned architecture practice Artefact to design a 3-metre-high stone brick installation Brick from a Stone which will appear between two iconic red London telephone boxes on Clerkenwell Green from 21-23 May. The installation will showcase stone bricks which both companies are launching this year. These bricks have remarkable environmental credentials, with carbon intensity reductions of about 75% when compared to clay-fired bricks – they only have about a quarter of the carbon footprint of traditional bricks.

[d]ARC THOUGHTS FEATURING NULTY LIGHTING
AND RUN FOR THE HILLS
dARC media brings a compelling set of talks based around lighting design. Two of our clients, Daniel Blaker of Nulty Lighting and designers Anna Burles and Chris Trotman, Co-founders of Run for the Hills, discuss their collaborative work on the superb Heartbreaker Bar (pictured below) in West Sussex.
