Run for the Hills Brings a luxury edge to Camden Goods Yard Showhome

The Living Room

St George, a proud member of the Berkeley Group, has launched its latest three-bedroom showhome at Camden Goods Yard, a remarkable new eight-acre destination nestled in the heart of NW1, just a 12 minute cycle from King’s Cross station.

Curated by London-based creative design house Run For The Hills, The Muse Showhome reflects the dynamic energies of the borough of Camden by channelling the spirit of Camden Town, and the leafy, tranquillity of London’s Royal Parks, such as The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, both of which are local to the development.

Curated by London -based creative design house Run For The Hills, The Muse Showhome reflects the dynamic energies of the borough of Camden by channelling the spirit of Camden Town, and the leafy, tranquillity of London’s Royal Parks, such as The Regent's Park & Primrose Hill, both of which are local to the development.

Anna Burles, Creative Director of Run For The Hills, is an expert on Camden , designing many interiors in the area and having worked for over five years near KOKO – an iconic music venue formerly known as the Camden Theatre.

To create an authentic homage, Anna and her team have partnered with local artist Caroline Chinakwe and London artist Dex to curate a collection of bespoke pieces that honour the borough’s rich musical and creative heritage , whilst also leveraging vibrant colours to reflect its diversity and opulent fabrics that act as an ode to the luxury of nearby Primrose Hill and Regents Park. Soft furnishings in the living room. This feeling of indulgence is carried through the three -bedroom home. Luxury features include its very own steam room, large balcony, floor-to-ceiling windows , built-in wardrobes, timber herringbone flooring throughout, a TOTO washlet, electric curtain rails and integrated Miele appliances.

The dining room and bespoke art

On entering the home, you are greeted with glowing wall lights and Phillip Jeffries studded wallpaper . This create s a dramatic backdrop for a mirror -in-a-drum art piece alongside playful wall art of local icon Amy Winehouse and Camden Hall of Fame recipient David Bowie in the hallway.

The beating heart of the home is the open plan kitchen, living and dining room which has been designed as a space for friends and family to gather.

The beautiful open-plan kitchen

Reflecting the glitz and glam our of Camden, central to the space is a showstopp ing sofa in a sumptuous teal velvet with sleek metallic trims . The brass plinth beneath elevates the design with a regal allure , while a cluster of upholstered armchairs and antique mirrored tables surround the sofa to encourage and spark conversation.

Run For The Hills has created similar ‘zones’ throughout the open-plan space. For more casual evenings, stools have been pulled up to the kitchen breakfast bar and a stunning marble dining table with rich walnut and brass legs holds its own space between the dining area, the kitchen and living areas.

Throughout the living, dining and kitchen room, artwork has been carefully selected to remind residents and visitors of the area’s thriving creative scene . Opposite the sofa is a high-tech Frame TV which, when not being used, showcases neon art while, in the dining space, artwork is suspended from bronze chains.

Leading off the hallway, each bedroom is unique yet in keeping with the overall design of the home.

The primary bedroom showcases a custom-made and curved headboard fitted with Dedar fabric, as well as brass bedside tables, alabaster lamps and a bespoke rug in earthy tones by Pelican. Set against a fresh palette of neutral tones, the room provides a moment of luxurious tranquillity in the buzzing neighbourhood.

The primary bedroom

The bedroom also has an en-suite, built-in wardrobes and dressing area - the ultimate space for getting ready , morning or night . The second bedroom has been dressed in true Camden maximalist style. It features burl timber wallpaper and a matching timber bed, a chequerboard arched mirror and statement Art Deco wall lights. Geometric wall art and a neon infinity mirror bring bold pops of red, pink and blue to the room. To create another space to relax, bespoke boucle armchairs reside at the end of the bed.

The third bedroom exudes pure luxury. The custom-designed bed is extravagant and has been fitted with rust-red mohair velvet and stud detailing which is complemented by red and gold fringed cushions. This bedroom also features unique pieces of art by Caroline Chinakwe including ‘Success’ and ‘I am who I am’.
